Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work in a range of support positions in human resources management. In smaller companies they may work across all human resources functional areas and in larger companies they may be assigned responsibilities in units or business areas focused on discrete human resources functions, such as remuneration, workforce planning or human resources information systems.

  7. BSBHRM404 – Review human resources functions
  8. BSBWRK411 – Support employee and industrial relations procedures
  9. BSBHRM403 – Support performance management processes
  10. BSBADM405 – Organise meetings

Modes of Delivery

For International students: 20 hours classroom based training and 20 hours per week of self-study is required.
For Domestic students: Classroom based and/or workplace training based on an agreed training plan that will include self-study.

The College will use the following assessment methods during this course which includes and may not be limited to Questions, Assignments, Projects, Case Studies, Activities, Third Party Reports/Logbooks, Portfolio, Observations, Tests and Written Assessments.

Course Suitability

This course is directed at individuals who are engaged in human resource activities in a support capacity. They will work across multiple human resource functions or may have specialist roles such as recruitment, workforce planning, payroll, industrial relations, sustainability or WHS policies, practices and procedures. Individuals will be drawn from all types of organisations and enterprises across a broad spectrum. The learners may opt to study full-time (Domestic or International) or part-time (Domestic Only).
